It supports and encourages the purposeful use of digital technologies for teaching, learning, assessment, engagement, the development of digital pedagogy and the innovative use of digital educational content in VET.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The digital methodologies and results of the VIRDUAL project enable an innovative use of digital education by applying a two-pronged approach to digital skills training:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VET teachers and company trainers (target users of the project) receive training on the use of extended reality to train work readiness skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apprentices and participants in further training programmes (beneficiaries) will receive training through extended reality on work readiness skills, which will be applied in companies during their participation in apprenticeship programmes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main outcomes encompassed by the VIRDUAL project are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Work Readiness Skills Training Curriculum for WBL through XR<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VIRDUAL Virtual Campus<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Web-based training application<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">E-learning activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recommendations for validation, certification and accreditation of competences.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VIRDUAL aims to boost digital innovation in VET by training teachers and trainers in companies (target audiences of the project) to use Extended Reality tools and apply simulation techniques to train the work readiness skills of trainees and participants (beneficiaries) through Work Based Learning.
