VIRDUAL staff training in Dresden: Hands-on XR learning in action

From 11–13 March 2025, the VIRDUAL consortium gathered in Dresden (Germany) for a dynamic and highly interactive staff training event hosted by SBG). Participants from all partner organisations engaged in intensive sessions focusing on the VIRDUAL e- Learning Campus and the Instructional WebApp.

INFODEF led the first day with a practical walkthrough of the e-Learning Campus: registration, module creation, and back- end features for instructors. Partners explored its potential for delivering and designing XR-enhanced learning experiences for (VET).

On the second day, INQS guided the team through the beta version of the Instructional Web App, designed for creating engaging online learning activities without requiring student logins. Through hands-on workshops, participants created and shared activities, tested QR code-based access, and discussed usability improvements.

This training marked a key milestone in preparing partners for the upcoming piloting phase and in strengthening digital skills for XR in VET.
